Emergency Contact Information for U.S. Citizens

If you are in imminent danger, you should immediately contact local authorities by dialing “123” for police and emergency services anywhere in Colombia.
In the event of an emergency involving a U.S. citizen in Colombia, you can reach the U.S. Embassy during normal business hours and after hours, seven days a week.
Emergencies include arrestinjury or serious illness, the death of an American citizen, or if you have been the victim of a crime. Emergency services do not require an appointment.
