The U.S. Embassy is coming to Medellin!
To further assist U.S. citizens in Colombia, the U.S. Citizen Services will be visiting Medellin on Thursday, June 9, and Friday, June 10, 2022. We will accept passport applications using the DS-11 form. Renewals and replacements using the DS-82 and DS-5504 forms should be submitted by mail – instructions are here. To determine which form you must use, go to our Passport Wizard.
These are the ONLY services that will be provided on that day. We will not receive Consular Report of Birth Abroad applications nor offer notarial services. As a reminder, we do not respond any questions related to Immigrant or Non-Immigrant Visas.

Hours: 8:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 15:00

ONLY CASHIER’S CHECKS (cheque de Gerencia) in Colombian pesos will be accepted. The required service fees will be published near the date of the event.
** Delivery: Delivery service of your new passport is mandatory. A DHL representative will be available to schedule return delivery services at an additional cost. This payment can only be made in cash. **
