Annual Program Statement – Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)

The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Mission in Bogota Colombia is pleased to announce funding availability through the Embassy’s Cultural and Educational Grants Program. This grants program supports projects proposed by Colombian and/or United States non-governmental organizations (NGOs), individuals, and cultural and educational institutions that aim to promote mutual understanding between the United States and Colombia.

The Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) PAS Annual Program Statement outlining the program’s funding priorities, strategic objectives, and the procedures for submitting requests for funding can be accessed here (PDF 269KB). PAS encourages reviewing the NOFO before applying, as it provides detailed information and other grant application and administration requirements.

The U.S. Embassy Bogota Public Affairs Section will accept proposals and review them in three cycles through the year: The closeout dates for each cycle are as follows:

  • October 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. local time
  • February 1, 2022 – April 31, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. local time
  • June 1, 2022 – August 12, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. local time
